I tried panda and spysweeper which i both already owned and the spyware/adware won't delete. I deleted it from my programs and recycle bin and restarted the computer and still it won't delete

Use MsConfig which you need to type that in the Run.

Go to Startup and uncheck all the box. Save and restart the computer.

Go back to MsConfig and go to search. Search for file that is in mostly in the Windows system section like in System32 folder. Click the matching file and delete it.

IF that doesn't work then use the system restore in System Tools that is found in All Programs and Accessories. Pick a earlier date and then go to that date.

Download a firewall and install it. You will need that to block out the spyware.

If your computer have 512mb or more and using Windows XP, you can download Service Pack 2. When you install Sevice Pack 2, it will install a firewall for free. Turn it on and you will block out 75% or more spywares.

A flashing red X shield and a yellow exclamation shield are both icons which Windows implemented to inform you that you haven't enabled automatic updates or something. I don't think it's a virus...
