depends how long he sleeps for. and how often your with him/her maybe it's awake then

but if theres no sign of illness i'd let it be.

otherwise think about taking it to the vets or get a book out of the libary on hamsters and see what they say?

Hamsters tend to sleep a lot during the day, so you can't do too much about that. But if you get/make some toys for it, it might help coax it out during the day some more :) If nothing else, it'll play with them at night and be a happier hamster!
That's what they do you cant do anything. Hamsters are nocturnal, they sleep all day and are awake at night.
its normal hamsters when in the whiled r nocturnal.
