Do you know the title of this 90's computer game I used to play?

I was talking about it with my brother and sister we think it came out in early 90s like 93-96 ish. It was definately made before 1998 and definately after 1989. We don't really remember the plots but here are a few bits we do remember:

-You play as a child, maybe a girl or more than one child at different parts.

-You are in London and theres a map of London with colored gems marking places you should investigate or places you have been.

-You're investigating some robbery or murder.

-Scotland Yard is mentioned alot... maybe even Sherlock Holmes.

-Theres a sphinx (hairless) cat in one scene.

-Some scenes are set in the Ritz Carlton Hotel, The Zoo, A palace or museum... The train station, a Castle or Abbey or both... maybe Westminster.

-The story begins in the main characters bedroom.

-At the zoo there is a panda or something and a clue near it.

-You read the newspaper at certain times.

-We think the game ran in MSDOS mode.

-Theres a hot crossbun in a certain scene...
