I'm aware that Fiat has a bit of a reputation, something that I don't feel is deserved to such an extent.
I'll admit, I have a soft spot for Fiat. They're good at making small cars (500, Cinquecento, Punto, Panda, etc), though not something I'd say about their bigger cars (i.e: Croma),a nd I'll admit their dealership newwork isn't reportedly much kop.
Am I right to take it that many of Fiat's main critics simply get their grudges because they heard of a friend-of-a-friend's experiences with a 1979 Strada, or something like that many moons ago?
Ok, I think (smaller) Fiats are good cars (my father once drove an Uno, lovely little car, lots of room for a Fiesta-class motor, fired-up every morning, survived a snapped cambelt, and had character), but what do you think of this brand? Have you got any experiences of Fiat?
What's the problem with Fiat?symantic
Yeh, yeh, yeh...Fix it again tomorrow....
Here's some you may not have thought of:
Audi= An Unending Drain of Income
BMW= Broke Man's Wallet
VW= Very Worst
Any car can cost you dearly if you're unlucky, or buy secondhand. I seem to be in a minority of one here, but I've had Fiats, Alfas (%26 Renaults too) which have been paragons of virtue compared to some of the German brands I've owned. At least if a little Punto breaks, it can be fixed easily by any half-decent garage for half the cost of a BMW main agent. And here's a newsflash for you, 80s BMWs %26 VWs rusted like b*ggery too!
