I had Panda for virus protection, but lately I've been getting box asking for update. I think my subscription is over. Turned off computer last night and turned on this morning. The Panda box came up and asked if a microsoft configuration could be allowed. I clicked yes thinking Panda would be renewed, but since then I can't get into internet. It says my setting have to be redone or something? What should I do?

Hi, I suggest if you're subscription has run out then go to Start, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and remove Panda.
Reboot your computer. Connect to the internet if possible (if not get a friend to download this program for you). Go to www.grisoft.com and search their site for the Free version of AVG antivirus. Download it, run it and keep it up to date and you'll never look back.
Hope this helps.
You don't provide information necessary to answer your question. What OS are you using? How do you connect to the internet? Is it broadband? DHCP or static IP?
I'd uninstall Panda and see if I could connect then. I would also check Device Manager to see if I have either the modem or NIC installed and working. If you are using ethernet to connect, then I'd be in start, run and type command. Then I'd enter ipconfig /all and see if I was getting an IP address.
But since I know so little of what your system is I can't really tell you how to troubleshoot.
Remove panda software, and download the free program AVG Free found at http://free.grisoft.com
Then go into your control panel and then internet Options and reset your internet connection
go to your security and tell it to accept Internet connections
