My computer is running slow?

When I defragment it says that I only have 15% of the memory left. I have programs that won't erase, such a Panda Antivirus that tries to reinstall itself when I try to erase it. I have saved all my important files in a memory stick and deleted any others that I don't need. I have deleted some programs that I don't use. I run my add-aware often...and still my browser runs slow and some programs, such as Office, take a while to load. When I turn on the PC, I get two error messages (I just click ok and they go away) and I have to wait like five mintues before I do anything or else it will freeze up. Should I reboot? The problem is that I got this PC from a salesman like six years ago (i think the brand is Element[s]) and only recieved a "motherboard" cd with the sound program and other things, and a black Windows floppy that reads "keyboard series." The computer started acting up a year or so ago...how I can reboot if needed?

Your biggest problem is only 15% free space. The hard drive has to work harder %26 consequently is slower, and is more apt to fail. It may be time to add a new larger one.

But there are some things you can do to speed up %26 clean up some space:

Delete some pix or music or other files you don't need, or burn them to cd %26 then delete.
